On Monday I biked to work, and didn't realise it was actually raining until I'd already left the apartment. it was only a mild rain however, unlike an hour later when it was pouring and I began to dread the ride home, as I was working the shift that they send you home as soon as they deem it's not going to be busy. I watched the rain fall harder and harder and was kicking myself for only wearing biking shorts instead of pants, wondering how wet and cold I'd get on the way home, being glad at least I could have a warm shower if necessary once I got there. However, because it was raining and cold, I got to stay a full eight hours and it had stopped raining by the time I went home, and then I just got to dodge puddles in the dark on the way back.
