Every year we have a Sakura festival. I forgot to see if you wanted to come (it was last weekend). Most of the Sakura were planted post internment to show the supposedly repaired Japan-Canada relationship. We have the most in N. America.

After our session was done Marek showed us the video and now I had to share. There’s a videogame coming out in 2013 called the Last of Us http://www.lastofus.com/ which is along similar lines. Obviously, Marek made up a lot of stuff for our game but that trailer was also part of the inspiration.

I can imagine a town of people who all climbed up telephone poles, only to have mushrooms sprout out of their eyes.
